Responsible Gaming

SkyExchange is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable betting environment. We believe that betting should be a form of entertainment, not a source of financial stress or personal harm. This page outlines our responsible gaming practices, the tools available to help you stay in control, and the resources you can access if betting becomes a problem.

Our Commitment

We take responsible gaming seriously at every level of the platform. Our team is trained to recognise signs of problem gambling, our policies are designed to protect vulnerable users, and our support channel is available around the clock to assist anyone who needs help managing their betting activity.

Responsible gaming is not an afterthought on SkyExchange — it is built into how the platform operates.

Age Restriction

SkyExchange is available exclusively to users aged 18 and older. We do not permit underage accounts under any circumstances. During the account creation process, our agents verify that all users meet the minimum age requirement before issuing login credentials.

If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, the account will be suspended immediately and any remaining balance will be handled in accordance with applicable regulations.

Parents and guardians who are concerned about a minor accessing online betting platforms should consider using parental control software to restrict access to gambling-related websites on shared devices.

Know the Warning Signs

Problem gambling can develop gradually, and the signs are not always obvious. If any of the following apply to you, it may be time to reassess your relationship with betting.

You are spending more money than you can afford to lose. Betting should only ever involve funds that you can lose without it affecting your ability to meet essential financial obligations like rent, bills, food, and family expenses.

You are betting to recover previous losses. Chasing losses — placing larger or more frequent bets to win back money you have lost — is one of the most common patterns in problem gambling and almost always leads to greater losses.

You are borrowing money to fund your betting. If you are taking loans, using credit, or borrowing from friends and family to place bets, this is a clear signal that your betting activity has become unsustainable.

Betting is causing conflict in your personal relationships. If your betting activity is creating arguments with your partner, family, or friends, or if you are hiding your betting from the people close to you, these are signs that the behaviour has moved beyond healthy entertainment.

You are spending more time betting than you intended. If you regularly plan to bet for a short time but find yourself still on the platform hours later, or if betting is displacing other activities you used to enjoy, your usage patterns may have shifted in an unhealthy direction.

You feel anxious, stressed, or irritable when you are not betting. If the thought of not being able to bet creates emotional distress, this is a sign of dependency that should be addressed.

Setting Personal Limits

The most effective way to maintain healthy betting habits is to set clear personal limits before you start.

Set a budget. Decide the maximum amount you are willing to spend on betting per day, per week, or per month. This should be money you can afford to lose entirely without any impact on your daily life or financial obligations.

Set a time limit. Decide how long you will spend on the platform per session. Use a timer or alarm on your phone if it helps. When the time is up, stop — regardless of whether you are winning or losing.

Never bet under the influence. Alcohol, drugs, and emotional distress impair judgment. Betting decisions made under the influence are almost always worse than those made with a clear mind. If you are not in a calm, rational state, step away from the platform.

Do not treat betting as income. Betting outcomes are uncertain by nature. Even the most informed and experienced bettors experience losing streaks. Relying on betting as a source of income creates financial risk and emotional pressure that leads to poor decisions.

Take regular breaks. Step away from the platform between matches, between sessions, and between days. Continuous betting without breaks reduces your ability to make clear-headed decisions and increases the risk of impulsive behaviour.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel that you need a break from betting, SkyExchange offers self-exclusion options. Contact our support team through WhatsApp and request a temporary or permanent exclusion from the platform.

Temporary exclusion allows you to suspend your account for a defined period — days, weeks, or months. During this time, you will not be able to log in or place any bets. Your account balance is preserved and available to you when the exclusion period ends.

Permanent exclusion closes your account and prevents future access. Any remaining balance will be returned to you through your registered payment method.

Self-exclusion requests are processed promptly and without judgment. Our team will not attempt to convince you to continue betting or to reconsider your decision.

Deposit and Session Controls

While SkyExchange does not currently offer automated deposit limit tools within the platform, you can take the following practical steps to manage your activity.

Set your own deposit limit and communicate it to the support team. They can help you stay within your stated budget if you request this assistance.

Use the transaction history in your account dashboard to track your deposits and withdrawals over time. Reviewing your transaction patterns regularly helps you stay aware of your spending.

If you notice that your deposits are increasing beyond what you originally intended, take it as a signal to pause and reassess before continuing.
